About us
Meet Your Therapist
Hello! Welcome and thank you for checking out our space.
I am Dr. Christene Graham the founder of the Core and More Rehabilitation LLC
When there is a change in our physical function as a result of trauma, disease process or chronic illness, our lives are never the same. There is increased stress and we are more likely to become more emotionally and physically vulnerable. We tend to withdraw from living our best lives and engaging in things that we normally would enjoy. Having the right SUPPORT and resources available to guide us every step of way is a true predictor of success in positive patient centered outcomes. Finally, there is light at the end of tunnel!
I have been a dedicated Physical Therapist for 17years, passionately working towards restoring function and enhancing the lives of each and every patient I treat. This wonderful field has given me the opportunity to be part of the “SUPPORT” team. It has let me practice in a wide variety of clinical settings, ranging from outpatient orthopedics, Acute Care hospital, Sub Acute Care hospital to Home Care Physical Therapy. I also had the experience as an adjunct professor (Lab Instructor) at Seton Hall University’s- Physical Therapy Program.
Over the course of my professional career I have noted that patients with lymphedema and other subspecialty diagnoses were not given a high standard of care.
- They are usually referred to Physical therapy practices that focus on wide range of mainstream diagnoses (orthopedic cases). They will get treated, but the care may not be a comprehensive one that is specific to their diagnosis.
- Secondly, there is a lack of trained clinicians to effectively treat patients with these conditions.
Patients will live with ongoing issues with lymphedema and think there is no remedy to these issues.
I knew I had to do something to contribute to resolving this problem.
Through my unwavering dedication commitment, zeal and enthusiasm came the birth of “The Core and More Rehabilitation” followed by me successfully becoming a Certified Lymphedema Specialist (CLT). The “More” in business applies to the care I provide- always doing more, being the lifelong student, doing whatever it takes to help my patients lead fulfilling lives.
